our story

Hello! We’re Jacki and Vanessa, sisters who became mothers in 2021 just a few (unplanned) months apart. In the throes of new parenthood, we found ourselves spending a LOT of time at home, and ideas started to percolate. While we come from different work backgrounds – Jacki works in healthcare and Vanessa in fashion – we share a love of interiors, home textiles, and - above all else - linen.

 We launched The Art of Nesting in the depths of early motherhood and tailwinds of pandemic life, hoping to infuse the homes of others with softness, beauty, and complete acceptance. We believe that home isn't a place, it's a feeling. Home is a space of growth, healing, and memories; it can be chaotic and nourishing at the same time.

 Our goal is to inspire comfort and creativity at home with quality linen goods offered in thoughtful collections. Our linen is designed to be wrinkled, washed, lived-in and loved; it's for the real, raw, messy, and beautiful journey of life.
