care
Our bedding is spun from 100% French flax linen which softens with each wash. We recommend washing your linens before using them for the first time, and while linen is durable and strong (read: one accidental hot wash won’t ruin them), following our care instructions will keep your goods in tip-top condition for as long as possible.
- Wash with similar colours on a gentle cycle in cool or warm water
- Tumble dry on low heat or line dry in the shade (direct exposure to sun can cause discolouration)
- Remove from the dryer promptly to reduce wrinkles, or remove when damp and air dry (heads up: linen does produce more lint than other textiles - don't forget to empty that filter!)
- If you prefer a smoother aesthetic, iron or steam sheets when slightly damp (personally though, we love the undoneness of throwing our sheets straight onto the bed after washing)
- Never bleach or dry clean
- Treat the stain quickly and directly
- Sprinkle a small amount of baking soda and distilled white vinegar over the stain and gently blot
- Continue the blotting process until the stain is gone
- Oxiclean is also safe to use if you have it available
- Wash your sheets as usual
Pro tip: fitted sheets can wear faster than other pieces due to friction from sleeping. We suggest rotating between two fitted sheets and allowing the fibres to rest between washes this will enhance the longevity of both sets. Store your resting sheets in a cool, dry place.
