Our Story

Hey there! We’re Jacki and Vanessa, sisters who became mothers in 2021 just a few (unplanned) months apart. In the throes of new motherhood, we found ourselves spending a lot more time at home, and ideas started to percolate. While we come from different work backgrounds – Jacki works in healthcare and Vanessa in fashion – we share a love of interiors, design, and - above all else - linen. Living on British Columbia’s West Coast, we’re surrounded by wild coastlines, forests and a way of life that draws you closer to nature. Inspired by our little ones, the places we call home, and a belief that everyday comfort can be beautiful, The Art of Nesting was born.
